I am a twenty something executive assistant and aspiring foodie from Boston but I live in a suburb of Washington DC. I'm somewhat hindered in the foodie department by the fact that I'm a rather picky eater (I don't eat basic things like mushrooms or you know, cow). I love baking and Harry Potter. I used to be much more active in the Harry Potter department and I've also dabbled in Buffy, Veronica Mars, and Tamora Pierce fandoms.

I also have a lot of anxiety about writing and this journal is (at least in part) my way of dealing with that. So please excuse any rambling or lack of commas. My mother once gave me a box of commas for Christmas-- I think she was trying to tell me something.
